The problem
The main content took 43.3 seconds to appear. Visitors left before the page existed, and search engines scored the site accordingly.
What we did
- Measured first: Lighthouse and field data to find the actual bottlenecks, not the assumed ones.
- Rebuilt the front-end delivery path — render-blocking assets cut, images resized and lazy-loaded, caching corrected.
- Re-tested after every change so each fix was proven, not guessed.
The result
Largest Contentful Paint dropped from 43.3s to 1.7s and the Lighthouse performance score rose from 34 to 98 — the difference between a site people leave and a site people use.
