The concept starts from a familiar operations reality: dispatch lives in one tool, status updates in inboxes, and the weekly report is assembled by hand, late. The redesign maps the actual handoffs first, then replaces the manual ones with trigger-based workflows — a status change notifies the customer, an exception routes to a person, and nothing bills without approval. Humans keep the decisions; the system does the chasing. Processing time is instrumented end to end, so improvement is measured, not asserted.
